Introduction/Overview (30 hours)

In this unit, you will read and analyze a classical dystopian novel and work of fiction, 1984. While reading, you will keep chapter summaries/notes, define and keep track of key terms/concepts/people/places in the novel, watch review videos, and answer review comprehension questions. For assessment, you will complete and submit a journal response entry on a novel theme question, and you will demonstrate your learning and understanding of this novel by successfully writing and completing a unit test.
